Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to conduct Compensation & Pension exams for veterans, supporting VA disability claims. You will review records, perform focused assessments, and provide medical opinions. Charting from home may be required; up to 10% travel to other clinics is expected.

Base salary plus a monthly incentive pays an annual range of $152,110–$182,110. The role requires independence, strong communication, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with QA teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with an active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS certification required, renewals included.
• Military experience or familiarity with veteran community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations and review medical history.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic results.
• Render objective medical opinions on veterans' health and work capability.
• Maintain case management workflow and submit examination findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain additional information.
• Document findings clearly and in VA-compliant reports.
• Comply with HIPAA and VA training requirements.
• Travel up to 10% to support clinics.
• Work Mon-Fri 8am–5pm; charting from home may be required.
