The Supervisory Veterans Service Representative (Coach) leads an assigned team within the Veterans Service Center (VSC) division, guiding staff responsible for informing and assisting Veterans and dependents on benefits, and for outreach to stakeholders.

Qualifications specify GS-13 with one year of specialized experience at GS-12 or higher, with no education substitution. Emphasis on interpreting federal and state laws, and C&P regulations relevant to VA benefits programs.

Qualifications

• GS-13 Grade Level: Specialized Experience of 1 year or more at GS-12 or higher.
• No education substitution at the GS-13 Grade Level.
• Experience applying Federal, state, local laws and C&P regulations to VA benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned team within the Veterans Service Center (VSC) division.
• Provide information, advice and assistance on all types of Veterans benefits claims.
• Perform outreach services to stakeholders.
