Job summary

Veterans Benefits Administration seeks a Supervisory Veterans Service Representative (Assistant DROC Manager) to share in managing Decision Review Operations Center operations through a staff handling claims, information, and outreach for VA benefits to Veterans and dependents.

Applicants must meet time-in-grade requirements and have specialized experience in VBA programs, with leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at GS-13 or equivalent in veteran benefits or VBA programs.
• Experience supervising, leading projects, and directing teams to meet performance goals.
• Full-time work experience at or above 35 hours per week with proper SF-50 documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DROC operations and staff responsible for claims processing and information guidance.
• Provide information, advice, and assistance on all VA benefits to Veterans and dependents.
• Lead outreach efforts to stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate processing.
