Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: at least 3 years of experience in postsecondary education.]
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities include accurate ledger interpretation, effective communication, and strong organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process VA enrollment certifications and adjustments to ensure accurate tuition and fee payments and prevent overpayments.
• Monitor eligibility, academic standing, and program applicability; reconcile VA payments with other offices to minimize financial risk.
• Support compliance activities by responding to VA surveys, audits, and mandatory SCO training.
• Provide advising on eligibility, usage, policies, and timelines for VA education benefits; assist with academic planning and credit articulation.
• Deliver proactive outreach and ongoing advising to support student success and resolve benefit-related challenges.
• Act as liaison with VA, DoD, and state agencies, coordinating with Financial Aid, Registrar, Advising, and Student Accounts.
