Job summary

CrescentCare in Greater New Orleans seeks a Behavioral Health Veteran Coordinator to support CCBHC clients with military experience, leveraging lived experience to explain services and the recovery process.

You will assist with enrollment in VHA benefits, coordinate referrals, document encounters in the EHR within 3 business days, and participate in treatment teams and meetings, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of direct behavioral health experience.
• Must have military experience.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Translate and explain services, treatment, and recovery processes to veterans in CrescentCare's CCBHC.
• Assist in connecting clients to VHA benefits and enrollment.
• Document client encounters in the EHR within 3 business days.
• Attend treatment team meetings and agency meetings.
