Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a SAVE Peer Support Outreach Coordinator to engage veterans, service members, and families in field-based outreach to support suicide prevention, housing navigation, recovery, and connections to resources.

You will conduct intake, coordinate with service providers, and accompany veterans to meetings as needed while adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA, and PII protections. A valid driver's license and statewide travel are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in program management or coordination.
• Bachelor's degree substitutions may apply as described in the ad.
• Must adhere to HIPAA and protect PII.

Responsibilities

• Administers intake to assess veteran needs.
• Coordinates outreach to connect veterans with services.
• Maintains accurate documentation per HIPAA and privacy laws.
• Travels statewide within Massachusetts for outreach.
• Participates in community meetings and trainings.
