Job summary

Maryville University in St. Louis seeks a Veterans Services Coordinator and VA Certifying Official to serve as the primary contact for veteran and active-duty students and to certify VA educational benefits.

You will manage VA benefits, educate students, coordinate with Enrollment Management, track project progress, and support registration and graduation operations, with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 2+ years in Registrar/Academic Records.
• 2+ years VA services or military experience and knowledge of VA programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with confidentiality.
• Experience with Ellucian Colleague and Salesforce CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for veterans and active-duty students.
• Certify VA educational benefits for students and monitor progress.
• Educate students on VA benefits and related educational matters.
• Support Veteran/Military student engagement in the CRM system.
• Manage payments and debt related to VA benefits on student accounts.
• Recruit and supervise VA work-study students.
• Assist Registration and Graduation Operations during peak times.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat within the Division.
