Job summary

Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Student Well-being Case Manager to help students navigate barriers to success and coordinate comprehensive support services.

You will assess needs, advocate for resources, and collaborate with Health, Disability Support, and Title IX to promote equity and belonging on campus. The role emphasizes compassionate, coordinated care, crisis response, and proactive outreach to enhance retention and student success within a supportive university

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Higher Education, Public Health, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field.
• Knowledge of student support services, case management practices, and coordinated care models.
• Understanding of student wellbeing, mental health concerns, crisis intervention, and referral processes.
• Knowledge of student advocacy practices and community resource coordination.
• Strong commitment to student success, wellbeing, belonging, and equitable access.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized case management support for students facing barriers to wellbeing and academics.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized support plans.
• Connect students with campus and community resources for mental health, medical, housing, financial needs, academic distress, and safety.
• Coordinate ongoing follow-up, advocacy, referrals, and wraparound support services.
• Lead Pregnancy & Parenting Support Services and coordinate related processes for pregnant/parenting students.
• Collaborate with Disability Support, Health & Counseling Services, Title IX, and faculty to ensure equitable access.
