Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a Client Intake specialist to provide a professional and compassionate intake experience for Veterans and community members seeking assistance with housing support.

You will serve as the primary point of contact, conduct initial intake and eligibility screenings, maintain client records, and coordinate with program staff, while upholding confidentiality. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, at $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, front desk operations, intake coordination, nonprofit services, or a related role.
• Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and clients.
• Conduct initial intake and eligibility screenings for program participants.
• Maintain accurate intake documentation and client records.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, Case Managers, and support staff to facilitate client services.
• Open and secure the office daily and maintain confidentiality.
