Job summary

Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas is seeking a Community Outreach Case Manager to build partnerships, identify individuals needing services, and coordinate outreach for the Veterans Program under the SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant. The role reports to the Program Director and requires some evening and weekend hours.

This grant-funded position runs through December 2026 with potential extension, and involves travel to VA facilities, shelters, and community sites to connect veterans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach efforts for the Veterans Program, including developing an outreach plan and schedule.
