Job summary

Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma in Carnegie, OK is seeking an Outreach Coordinator for the SSVF program to connect homeless Veterans with housing and services. You will conduct street and agency outreach, coordinate rapid rehousing and transitional support, and be the program's expert on local veteran outreach.

You will work closely with the Case Manager, deliver resources, assist with eligibility, and help coordinate outreach events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience: one year working with homeless individuals or with military/Veteran populations (not required).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Six months of outreach experience preferred.
• Prior military experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular street outreach to connect homeless Veterans with services.
• Provide resources such as food and shelter options.
• Deliver bus passes and food boxes to Veterans.
• Assist with eligibility determinations and referrals to community services.
• Support HMIS and data-informed outreach efforts.
• Coordinate Veterans outreach events as needed.
• Provide office coverage for walk-ins.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
