Job summary

The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma in Carnegie, OK seeks an SSVF Case Manager to serve very low-income Veteran Families under the Veterans Office Director. This full-time position requires commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing Housing Stability Plans, connecting clients with VA and local benefits, administering temporary financial assistance, maintaining accurate files, and providing follow-up to promote housing stability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience with homeless or veteran populations.
• Knowledge of community resources for veterans.
• Minimum 6 months of case management experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet program standards.
• Prior military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, client-centered case management to promote housing stability.
• Maintain organized, accurate client files and data for reporting.
• Develop and maintain Housing Stability Plans and assess client needs.
• Advise clients on VA, state, and local benefits and provide financial assistance as needed.
• Refer clients to services with community partners and track follow-up.
