Job summary

Recovery Resource Council in Amarillo is seeking a conscientious SSVF Case Manager to assist Veterans who are homeless or at imminent risk by providing rapid rehousing and prevention services. The role requires conducting intakes, housing navigation, and developing Housing Stability Plans while traveling throughout the Panhandle region.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field (or 2 years of case-management experience), strong communication skills,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and/or 2 years of case management experience
Experience with homelessness or veterans preferred
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Provide case management to veterans at imminent risk of homelessness or currently experiencing homelessness.
Conduct intakes, housing navigation, and develop Housing Stability Plans.
Coordinate with Health Care Navigator and Employment Specialist to access additional services.
Create and maintain positive relationships with housing properties in the area.
Participate in community meetings, case conferences, and outreach in the Panhandle region; document services in HMIS and client records.
