Job summary

Catholic Community Services is looking for a Full-time Case Manager to support vulnerable veteran households in Seattle. This role involves outreach, conducting assessments, managing housing needs, and developing Housing Stability Plans while ensuring a trauma-informed approach.

The Case Manager will collaborate with community resources to aid in housing navigation and provide essential advocacy services. Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in databases.

Qualifications

• A combination of lived experience or 1 year working with homeless households.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be approved as a CCS Driver.
• Commitment to working within the mission, goals, and objectives of Catholic Community Services.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and engage with veteran households needing housing navigation support.
• Assess housing related needs and conduct eligibility screening.
• Provide advocacy and housing navigation support.

Skills

Lived experience or experience with homelessness

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Understanding of challenges faced by participants

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, or related field

Tools

HMIS or other databases
