Job summary

Old-Pueblo-Community-Services is seeking a Program Manager to oversee veteran housing programs, ensuring contract and policy compliance and high service quality in Tucson, AZ. You will supervise VA program staff, respond to referrals, coordinate admissions, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting in alignment with VA expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience with veterans and mental health services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or four years related experience.
• Experience with veteran population and serious mental illness.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VA housing programs and ensure compliance with contracts and policies.
• Supervise and develop VA program staff.
• Coordinate after-hours admissions and bed placement.
• Monitor bed utilization with 90%+ occupancy monthly.
• Prepare quarterly program metrics and reports.
• Collaborate with VA and community partners to coordinate services.
