Job summary

The Center for Community Resources is seeking a Veteran Housing Advisor in Butler, PA for the SSVF program to provide outreach, assessment, and case management to veterans experiencing homelessness or near homelessness.

The role is full-time, daylight hours (8am-4pm), with occasional evenings or weekend day. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, life and disability protection, retirement options, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in social services field; homeless population experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clearances (Act 33/34, FBI).
• Understanding military culture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop a plan to address needs and barriers.
• Outreach to educate partners and solicit referrals to the SSVF program.
• Screen referred veterans for eligibility and provide case management.
• Coordinate housing-focused services and connect to VA resources.
