The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is seeking an experienced Housing Coordinator to help Veterans obtain and maintain safe, stable housing. You will handle housing referrals, payments, and support services in line with program guidelines.

You will work with VA Case Managers, landlords, and partners to ensure timely processing and accurate documentation while protecting sensitive Veteran information. This role supports veterans who have sacrificed for our country.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in housing services, social services, nonprofit programs, customer service, property management, or case coordination.
• Experience working with Veterans or Veteran-serving organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with HUD-VASH, Housing Choice Vouchers, SSVF, affordable housing, homelessness prevention, or housing stabilization programs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process HUD-VASH referrals and housing assistance requests.
• Manage an active caseload and ensure referrals are processed accurately and timely.
• Review documentation for completeness, eligibility, and compliance with program requirements.
• Communicate with VA Case Managers regarding referral status and needs.
• Coordinate with landlords, property managers, vendors and partners to obtain documentation and facilitate housing placements.
• Process housing payments including deposits, arrears, utilities, moving expenses and other eligible costs.
• Track payment requests and resolve payment-related issues with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate case records and referral tracking systems.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up to prevent delays.
• Protect confidential Veteran and financial information per policies.
• Participate in QA reviews, process improvements, meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
