The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is seeking a dedicated Veteran Services Associate in New York to serve as the primary contact for veterans and families during intake, screening, and enrollment. You will guide program assistance and connect recipients to community resources.

Responsibilities include handling high call volumes, conducting pre-screenings, collecting documentation, and coordinating with the admin team to ensure timely responses and updates throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer support and administrative experience.
• Experience working with Veterans or homeless populations preferred.
• Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage high volume calls and facilitate communication through intake and enrollment.
• Assist veterans and families with navigating Homeless Veteran Program enrollment.
• Complete pre-screenings, collect documents, and determine eligibility.
• Coordinate with administrative team for timely responses to contacts.
• Provide status updates on applicants' progress within the process.
• Offer recipients community resources including housing, benefits, and entitlements.
