Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits required and at least two years of experience in the social services field.
• Strong organizational and design skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including behavioral health professionals.
• Complete a two-week training program, including Reducing Stigma and Mental Health First Aid.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and mentorship to Veterans through shared lived experience.
• Build trusting relationships using trauma-informed, person-centered practices.
• Assist Veterans in accessing and navigating resources to improve housing stability.
• Facilitate individual and group activities and wellness programming.
• Observe, assess, and respond to needs, including mental health and substance use concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and outcomes.
• Maintain a visible presence and monitor safety and visitor policies.
• Utilize case management systems to document interactions and progress.
• Monitor issues and communicate with the housing team; attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide shift coverage to support 24/7 operations.
