Job summary

Global TekMed in Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking a Medical Interview Specialist responsible for conducting medical interviews with Veterans to assist in completing Personal Assessment Questionnaires. The role involves simplifying medical terms, analyzing questionnaires for qualifications, and scheduling interviews.

Qualifications

• Previous medical field experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and translate complex medical terminology into layman’s terms.
• Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a medical interview with Veterans on specific service-connected disabilities.
• Utilize remote access software to complete the information.
• Schedule Veterans for medical interview appointments.
