Job summary

TERRESTRIS, LLC in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Medical Support Assistant to support the Veteran community. The role features a base year with two option periods, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm (MST), at 4776 Eagleridge Circle, Pueblo, CO 81008. Required: U.S.

work authorization, 6 months customer service experience, proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook, HS diploma or GED, 50 WPM typing, basic medical terminology. VA software experience is a plus. Credentialing per VA processes.

Qualifications

Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite.
High School diploma or GED.
Oral and written proficiency in English.
Type at least 50 WPM.
Basic medical terminology knowledge.
Previous VA software experience is a plus.
Credentialing and onboarding per VA processes.

Responsibilities

Respond to internal and external requests for assistance in a courteous, professional manner.
Answer phones with proper etiquette and collect information before transferring.
Check-in patients via Integrated Scheduling Solution (ISS).
Serve as Patient Relations Representative and address feedback and concerns.
Manage and complete assigned work, coordinate with team, and maintain workflow.
Update patient demographics and insurance information.
