Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions seeks a Medical Support Assistant to support the Veteran community in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is open to Locum or Traveling professionals with a base year and two 1-year option periods.

You will perform front-desk duties, respond to inquiries, check in patients via ISS, update demographics, and assist in clinic operations. Required: US work authorization, 6 months of customer service, high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, basic computer skills, and

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite.
• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Basic computer skills and typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external customer requests courteously and professionally.
• Answer the phone and transfer to nurse/provider as needed after collecting information.
• Check-in patients via Integrated Scheduling Solution (ISS).
• Serve as Patient Relations Representative and address feedback and concerns.
• Update patient demographics, phone numbers, addresses, and insurance data.
• Open/close clinics daily and monitor faxes and mail per HIPAA standards.
