Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-focused role for Veterans, with reports prepared in VA formats.

The position is a 1099 Independent Contractor with flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities. Ideal candidates hold Au.D or equivalent, with strong documentation and strict adherence to VA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license.
• Au.D or equivalent terminal degree in audiology or related field.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Utilize VA DBQs and standardized audiology testing protocols.
• Prepare clear VA-formatted reports and maintain timely submissions.
• Maintain objectivity and adhere to confidentiality standards.
