Job summary

Loyal Source seeks a Nurse Practitioner Examiner to conduct VA Compensation & Pension examinations, reviewing records, performing focused assessments, and rendering objective opinions. This role may require remote charting and up to 10% travel to other clinics; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.

Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience conducting medical disability examinations preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Compliance with VA training requirements and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations and reviews.
Render Objective Medical Opinions based on exam findings and records.
Coordinate with QA and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Document findings in VA-compliant reports and maintain confidentiality.
