Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to conduct VA Compensation & Pension examinations for veterans, reviewing records, performing focused assessments, and providing objective medical opinions.

This role supports remote charting with Travel 10% to clinics, requires independence, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with QA and healthcare teams to ensure VA guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• Minimum of 1 year experience conducting medical disability exams.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) with renewals.
• Familiarity with medical disability evaluations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical disability examinations and assess impact on daily living.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results to inform opinions.
• Render objective medical opinions based on findings and records.
• Coordinate with QA team and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Document findings in VA-compliant reports and ensure timely submissions.
