Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing; valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license; not barred from practicing in any U.S. state.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience conducting medical disability examinations or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability compensation.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic results.
• Render objective medical opinions on disability impact and work ability.
• Maintain case-management workflow and communicate with QA team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information.
• Document findings clearly in VA-compliant reports.
