Job summary

Advocacy Solutions in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a VA Intake Analyst to serve as the primary liaison for potential clients, conducting intake case reviews, verifying eligibility, and documenting all necessary information and evidence for disability claims and benefits, to ensure the percentage of disability, write recommendations and, explain the decision and reason.

They will be proficient in using computers, be able to verify that there are no discrepancies within documents, and excel at both

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical abilities and computer literacy.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to veterans or survivors who completed consultations for VA disability compensation.
• Verify information including employment, service dates, deployments and claims details.
• Use VA ratings guidelines to determine percentage of disability.
• Write recommendations after analyzing candidates and explaining decisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
