Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Fort Worth is seeking Military Veterans for the Automotive Service Technician Apprentice position. The role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, allowing veterans to gain practical dealership experience while earning certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, communicating with service teams, and maintaining safety standards. This full-time position offers training and support, along with eligibility for the GI Bill® Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment

Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience

Education

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
