Job summary

Kiavets in Fort Worth is looking for Military Veterans with mechanical experience to train as Automotive Service Technicians through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This full-time position offers hands-on experience along with a structured, GI Bill-approved apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, with preferred qualifications including prior mechanical experience and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
• Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including various systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
