Job summary
A participating automotive dealership in Cape Girardeau is seeking Military Veterans for the role of Automotive Service Technician Apprentice. This position offers a one-year apprenticeship to develop mechanical skills while receiving training and support necessary for Kia Service Technician certification. Veterans will gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Kia vehicles, while also being eligible for a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill during the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
- Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
- Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
