Job summary

Kiavets in Irving, TX is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician role. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), focusing on hands-on dealership training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including all major systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and shop foremen.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment

Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service
