Job summary

Kiavets in Fishers, IN, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician role. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), offering hands-on dealership experience and a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

Technicians will diagnose, service, and repair Kia vehicles alongside experienced professionals. The role is full-time and GI Bill® approved, offering eligible Veterans a Monthly Housing Allowance during their training.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
