Job summary

CityVet is hiring Veterinary Technician Assistants with at least 1 year in the veterinary field, though entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. The TA helps support the Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian, ensuring patient care and smooth clinic operations in a busy, pet‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to safely restrain animals.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• 18 years or older at hire.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for surgery and restrain animals as needed.
• Collaborate with VT and Veterinarian to triage and treat patients quickly.
• Aid VT with booked appointments, walk-ins, and record observations.
• Support Client Service Specialist team when needed.
