Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician as required in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor under stressful situations.
• Telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, record vitals, and document visits in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Handle medications, restraints, lab samples, and maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, manage inventory and records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia and recovery.
