Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to serve as the vital connector between our network and your veterinary school in Birmingham, AL.

You will build relationships with students, faculty, and clubs, promote opportunities, organize events, and share externships and career paths.

Qualifications

• Current 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• Must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university's students, faculty, and student organizations.
• Promote awareness and participation in DVM student programs through networking, emails, and meetings.
• Host at least one campus engagement event per semester, handling scheduling and catering.
• Share externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Keep the team informed about job fairs and campus events, coordinating visits.
• Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within year.
• Support social media by providing monthly content on experiences and events.
