Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to connect with universities, promote veterinary student programs, and organize campus events. You will build relationships with students, faculty, and clubs, and share clinical opportunities within our network.

As a current veterinary student (1st-3rd year), you will gain leadership and communications experience, while supporting social media and campus activities.

Qualifications

• Currently a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year veterinary student.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• You must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university's students, faculty, and organizations.
• Promote awareness and participation in DVM student programs through networking and outreach.
• Host at least one engagement event per semester, handling scheduling and catering.
• Share information on externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Assist with visits from teammates and promote our presence at your school.
• Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within your first year.
• Contribute monthly content to support social media efforts.
