Mission Pet Health in Birmingham, AL seeks a Student Advocate to connect the company with veterinary students, faculty, and clubs. You will build relationships, promote career opportunities, and strengthen school partnerships while growing your professional network and gaining leadership experience.

You will host at least one engagement event per semester, share externships and job openings, and contribute monthly content to social media.

Qualifications

• Current 1st–3rd-year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and clubs.
• Must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university.
• Promote career opportunities and engagement with students, faculty, and clubs.
• Organize campus events and coordinate logistics like scheduling and catering.
• Share externships, job openings, and career paths within the network.
• Gather campus insights on job fairs and visits from Mission Pet Health teammates.
• Gain clinical experience by completing at least one rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within the first year.
• Support social media by providing monthly content about student events.
