Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to connect our network with university communities in the United States. You will liaison with students, faculty, and clubs, promoting DVM programs through outreach and meetings.

You will organize campus events, share clinical opportunities, and gather insights while pursuing at least one clinical rotation in our hospitals within the first year. Competitive compensation is offered to build your resume and career.

Qualifications

• Current 1st year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• You must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Be a Key Liaison: primary link between Mission Pet Health and university students, faculty, and student organizations.
• Champion Student Engagement: promote awareness/participation in DVM student programs via networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
• Organize Campus Events: host at least one engagement event per semester with logistics (scheduling, catering).
• Share Clinical Opportunities: share externships, job openings, and career paths within the network.
• Gather Campus Insights: inform team about job fairs and campus events, assist with visits from teammates, promote presence.
• Gain Clinical Experience: complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within the first year.
• Support Social Media: provide monthly content (photos/stories) about experiences and events.
