Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate in Birmingham to serve as the primary liaison between the company and veterinary students. You will promote program awareness, organize campus events, and share clinical opportunities with peers.

You will complete at least one clinical rotation in the first year and contribute monthly content for our social channels, building a strong professional network within the veterinary community.

Qualifications

• Current 1st year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• You must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

• Be a Key Liaison between Mission Pet Health and your university's students, faculty, and student organizations.
• Promote awareness and participation in DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
• Organize campus engagement events at least once per semester, managing logistics from scheduling to catering.
• Share information about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Gather campus insights on job fairs and campus events, assist visits from teammates, promote presence at your school.
• Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within your first year as an Advocate.
• Support social media by providing monthly content about experiences and student events.
