Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate in Birmingham, AL to connect with the school community and promote career opportunities within our network. You will build relationships with students, faculty, and clubs, while coordinating events and sharing externships and job openings.

As a current veterinary student (1st–3rd year), you will gain real-world leadership experience, support social media efforts, and complete at least one clinical rotation within the first year.

Qualifications

• Current veterinary student in 1st–3rd year, actively engaged in school community.
• Must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Mission Pet Health and your university, students, faculty and clubs.
• Promote awareness of DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and campus meetings.
• Organize at least one engagement event per semester (lunch & learn, meet-and-greet) and manage logistics.
