Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate in Birmingham to connect the company with veterinary students. You will build relationships, promote career opportunities, and strengthen ties with students, faculty, and clubs.

Gain leadership experience while supporting events and clinical rotations within our network. You will not be employed by another veterinary group as a student rep, and you will participate in campaigns, networking, and monthly social media storytelling to highlight

Qualifications

Currently enrolled veterinary student in year 1–3.
Active participation in school community and clubs.
Not employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between Mission Pet Health and university students, faculty and clubs.
Promote awareness of DVM student programs through networking and outreach.
Organize at least one campus engagement event per semester with logistics support.
Share externships, job openings, and career paths within Mission Pet Health.
Gather campus insights on job fairs and visits from Mission Pet Health teammates.
Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital in year one.
Support social media by providing monthly content about student events and experiences.
