Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC is seeking a Client Service Representative to elevate client experiences at the front desk and support practice administration. The role involves managing reception, appointments, and client communication while learning veterinary assistant skills.

The schedule features a 4-day work week with 2-3 Saturdays per month. Ideal candidates will demonstrate patience, organization, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Comfort with OSHA safety techniques and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Ensures public areas are clean and presentable for patients; front desk, reception area, waiting area, office and exam rooms.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensure appropriate workflow.
• Updates client/patient files as needed.
• Sends reminder notices and conducts re-calls to clients.
• Performs daily posting and backup of the computer system as directed.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm demeanor and ensures an excellent experience.
• Answers telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications, instructions, and take-home items.
• Handles emergencies with care and follows clinic policies.
• Addresses client concerns to end each experience with satisfaction.
