Job summary

Greenbrier Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative to provide an exceptional client experience and handle essential practice administration. You will manage front desk operations, record maintenance, appointment tracking, and patient communications with a courteous, professional demeanor.

The role emphasizes patient and client satisfaction, collaboration with doctors and staff, and adherence to clinic policies. Prior veterinary exposure is preferred, with OSHA PPE practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable for patients; cleans and straightens front desk, reception, waiting area, office, public restrooms and exam rooms.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to Doctor preferences and ensures appropriate workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices to clients and conducts follow-ups from a call back list.
• Performs routine backup of the computer system and postings of daily business.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensures a great visit.
• Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Handles emergencies per clinic policies and procedures.
• Addresses client concerns calmly to ensure satisfaction.
