Saronic Technologies in the United States seeks a Vessel Planner to own the detailed production schedule for assigned hulls, maintaining activity logic, sequencing, and near-term priorities in Primavera P6. You will align hull plans with the integrated master schedule and work with shop leadership to keep milestones achievable.

The role requires 2–4+ years of planning experience, CPM scheduling proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years planning/scheduling or project controls experience, preferably in shipbuilding, marine, or complex fabrication environments.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling; strong Excel reporting and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the Primavera P6 schedule for each assigned vessel, including activity logic, durations, and production sequencing.
• Verify work breakdown structure (WBS), estimates, durations, and sequence logic for accuracy and constructibility at the hull level.
• Status the schedule with timely progress updates and keep near‑term priorities and look‑ahead schedules current.
• Maintain forecasted vessel milestones and ensure hull‑level changes roll up into the integrated master schedule.
• Preserve schedule integrity through ongoing logic review, resolving open‑ended activities, constraints, and out‑of‑sequence work.
• Perform critical path and near‑critical path analysis at the hull level to identify risks and recovery opportunities.
• Calculate schedule variance (SV) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) against baseline.
• Produce milestone bar chart schedules, S‑curves, and look‑ahead schedules (e.g., 3‑week and 90‑day).
• Prepare progress updates and provide hull‑level inputs for weekly and monthly reporting.
• Participate in hull schedule review meetings with shop and production leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to align design releases and material availability with production sequencing.
• Integrate quality hold points into the hull schedule, with a focus on RFI, FAT, and QA punches.
