Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Master Planner to own the overall flow of ship construction across the shipyard, mapping how vessels move through work stations and maintaining the integrated master schedule that ties every trade, program, and facility constraint together.

This role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities to define critical path activities, schedule windows, and to resolve capacity constraints early through resequencing or schedule adjustment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on shipyard planning experience across multiple programs.
• Experience building and maintaining an IMS using CPM-based tools.
• Understanding of full ship construction flow: fabrication to delivery.
• Strong analytical skills in critical path analysis and capacity planning.
• Strong communication skills to present schedule risk to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ship plan showing vessel flow through yard stations.
• Define work station sequencing and loading across concurrent builds.
• Identify conflicts where hulls compete for the same station or resource.
• Build and maintain the integrated master schedule tying disciplines into one timeline.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities to define path activities and windows.
• Keep the schedule current as progress, changes, and resourcing move the plan.
• Coordinate with Facilities to understand station capabilities and constraints.
• Flag schedule health and support what-if scenario planning for changes.
