Job summary

Actus Consulting Group is seeking a Vessel Operations Coordinator for an onsite role in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, depending on experience. Overtime may occur based on workload.

The responsibilities include monitoring vessel status, coordinating port instructions, invoicing freight, and communicating with captains and port agents. Office hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a business level.
• Logistics coordinator or related experience.
• Must be able to commute to the office and work regular office hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon-Fri).
• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without any visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Checking the vessel & operating status and movements.
• Preparing and sending voyage instructions and appointments with port agents.
• Invoicing freight to charterers and arranging remittance to port agents, etc.
• Communicate with vessel captains and port agents via telephone and e-mail regarding voyages.
• Arrange fuel and lubricant supply to vessels.
• Assist with crew arrangements.
• Responding to urgent issues as needed
• Other duties as assigned
