Job summary

STG Pacific, part of Calista Brice, seeks a Vertical Construction Project Estimator in Alaska to prepare complete cost estimates for vertical construction and federal projects. You’ll lead quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and subcontractor quote evaluation, coordinating with PMs to align budgets with project requirements and schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management and 4+ years of estimating, with travel up to 15% and a focus on safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Four years of related project management or estimating experience for vertical construction.
• Experience with federal construction projects (USACE, NAVFAC or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify bidding opportunities with BD and PM teams.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including takeoffs, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and integrate into project estimates.
• Assist PMs in developing budgets and pricing change orders.
