Job summary

STG Inc., an infrastructure-focused firm, is seeking a Project Estimator to lead preconstruction estimating for Alaska projects from Anchorage, AK. You will manage quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and subcontractor quotes while aligning estimates with project budgets and timelines.

The role requires collaborating with PMs, BD, and clients, traveling as needed, and maintaining cost history databases to support bids and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction required.
• Four (4) years of related project management or estimating experience required.
• Experience preparing budgets, cost estimates, and project financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Identify bidding opportunities in collaboration with Business Development and Project Management.
• Review and analyze RFP packages to develop complete cost estimates.
• Lead quantity takeoffs, labor/material analysis, and subcontractor quote evaluation.
• Develop and submit prequalification packages and scope letters.
• Conduct site visits to verify scope and logistics; overnight travel may be required.
