Job summary

STG Pacific LLC in Alaska seeks a Vertical Construction Project Estimator to identify bidding opportunities, prepare detailed cost estimates, and lead preconstruction estimating activities for vertical construction and federal projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers to align costs with budgets, schedules, and logistics, including travel as needed.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management and 4+ years' estimating experience, with proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Four (4) years of related project management or estimating experience.
• Experience with federal construction projects (USACE, NAVFAC or similar).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Identify bidding opportunities with Business Development and Project Management.
• Review RFP packages and clarify scope with clients.
• Prepare complete cost estimates including takeoffs, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Lead turnover meetings with Project Managers for bids and budgets.
• Support preconstruction and construction phase estimating and pricing changes.
• Review estimates for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain estimating software and cost history databases.
