Job summary
STG Pacific LLC is seeking a Vertical Construction Project Estimator to identify bidding opportunities and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for vertical construction and federal projects in Alaska. The role requires leading takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and subcontractor quote evaluation in coordination with Project Managers.
Preferred location is Anchorage, AK, with open consideration for Fairbanks, AK.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Four years of related estimating experience within vertical construction.
- Experience with federal construction projects (USACE, NAVFAC, or similar) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify bidding opportunities with Business Development and Project Management.
- Prepare complete cost estimates including quantity takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment, and logistics.
- Lead quantity takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor quotes for complete project estimates.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to align estimates with budgets and schedules.
- Review estimates for completeness and accuracy; support preconstruction and construction phases.
